The values & effort in building a high performance house should extend out into its landscape. With a 'fire' palette meadow in the front yard to play on the shou sugi ban siding of the house to an ample vegetable garden & espaliered fruit trees in the backyard, this landscape has provided the client with a paradisial refuge in the heart of the City. We also constructed a rockery as a miniature mountainscape, to be enjoyed while resting between rounds in the sauna. You should see it covered in snow!
